The Department of Biomedical Engineering, along with the Career Development Centre, held a highly anticipated and successful session on 'Zifo R&D: Interview Preparations' on July 1, 2023, with an overall attendance of 50+ participants. Ms. Priyadharshini K., an Associate Analyst at Zifo R&D and an acclaimed alumnus from the 2018–22 batch of Biomedical Engineering, KPRIET. The event was organized by Faculty Coordinators Dr.Allwyn Gananadas A (AP (SI.G)/BME) and Mr. John Amose (AP(Sr.G)/BME) along with Student Coordinators Ms. Gayathri K S / IV BME and Mr. Vignesh S / IV BME. Ms. Priyadharshini K. commenced her presentation by delivering an insightful overview of Zifo R&D, its mission, and its corporate culture. She highlighted the pivotal role of biomedical engineering in driving advancements in research and development within the industry. She thoroughly highlighted different aspects, such as the numerous interview rounds, the sorts of questions given, and the essential skills and competencies sought in potential applicants. Following the presentation the students were able to actively engage with Ms.Priyadharshini K. in a lively Q&A session. Participants eagerly asked questions about the organisation, the interview process, and career opportunities at Zifo R&D.
