LabVIEW provides a number of libraries and toolkits that make it easy for users to develop applications for a wide range of applications, including data acquisition and processing, data visualization and analysis, and user interface design. Additionally, LabVIEW offers interoperability and integration with a wide range of hardware components, allowing users to build and control custom systems with ease. Whether you are a scientist, engineer, or industrial professional, LabVIEW provides the tools you need to create software applications that meet your specific requirements and solve complex problems in an intuitive and efficient manner.
NI myDAQ is a low-cost portable data acquisition (DAQ) device that uses NI LabVIEW-based software instruments, allowing students to measure and analyze real-world signals. NI myDAQ is ideal for exploring electronics and taking sensor measurements.
myDAQ Student Data Acquisition Devices feature eight commonly used plug-and-play computer-based lab instruments based on LabVIEW, including a digital multimeter (DMM), oscilloscope, and function generator. Students can access all the ready-to-run software instruments to perform experiments and exercises with the Bode analyzer, arbitrary waveform generator, dynamic signal analyzer (fast Fourier transform), digital input, and digital output.
External participants from various institutions participated in the workshop and gained fundamental knowledge in LabVIEW programming, data acquisition and analysis. Hands-on training was conducted for all the participants. Basic concepts of virtual instrumentation was explained. Real time applications of LabVIEW was stated. The industries using LabVIEW and the tools they majorly work upon projects were stated. Few real time projects were explained.
Received good feedback from the participants.
