On May 11, 2024, KPRIET hosted a successful Walkathon at Phoenix Circle, attracting 200 enthusiastic participants. The event was themed around Climate Change with a focus on supporting afforestation, highlighting the pressing need for environmental conservation and proactive steps to combat global warming.
The energetic atmosphere as participants gathered early in the morning, sporting custom t-shirts promoting the cause. The walkathon aimed to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of deforestation and the importance of planting trees to restore ecological balance. Participants included students, faculty members, local community leaders, and environmental activists, all united by a common goal.
