The Department of Chemical Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology is organizing an Expert Talk on “Chemical Process Simulation for Chemical Engineers” to provide students with practical insights into the role of process simulation in modern chemical engineering.
The session will focus on the fundamentals and applications of chemical process simulation, including process modelling, simulation tools, process analysis, optimization, and their relevance in industrial operations. The expert session will help participants understand how simulation techniques are used to analyze chemical processes, improve process efficiency, support engineering decisions, and address real-world industrial challenges.
The session will be delivered by Mr. V. G. Charan Pruthvi, Executive Engineer, Yokogawa India Private Limited (YIL). The interaction will also provide students with an opportunity to gain industry-oriented knowledge and understand the skills expected of chemical engineers in process industries.
